Painting for my Kitchen
This painting was done in oils. The colors I used were Raw Umber,Yellow Ochre,Cadmium Red (hue),Lemon Yellow and Titanium White. I named this one after my dad said it looked like a Molcajete without feet. Thanks for the title Idea dad! Love it.

Painting on my Living room wall
I originally had done this in a green hued color, which I loved, but I felt I needed to change after painting my walls in a blue color. I absolutely love the way it came out. Sadly when I move,I won't be able to bring it with me. I used wall paint that I purchased at Lowes,to paint the large areas of the the flower, the background as well. On the original (BEFORE PHOTO) painting I used a blue green color for background and a cream color for the actual flower. I then used Yellow Ochre & Crimson acrylic paints to highlight the pedals. I used Mars Black & Crimson acylic paints to highlight the background. Then added the final touch by tracing the flower with glitter glue. On the present (AFTER PHOTO) I used Black flat wall paint to paint the background. Also purchased at Lowes.
